Undecided on who to vote for? Here's who's running in Ward 2

Election day is a week away! 

If you still haven't decided who to vote for in the Timmins election, here's a look at who's running in Ward 2 (South Porcupine). 

There are three candidates: incumbent Mickey Auger, Lorne Feldman and Marcus Niebler. 

Auger is a longtime South Porcupine resident — he's lived in the community for 47 years — and is seeking his second term at the council table. Read his bio here.

Feldman is born and raised in Timmins and moved to South Porcupine 12 years ago. Many may know him from his family's longstanding business, which he runs. Read his bio here. Learn more about Feldman and his take on the issues here.

Niebler is newer to the community and owns Escape from Reality downtown South Porcupine, along with his latest venture — Quick Lunch — on the property where the Central Tavern was located on Bruce Avenue. Read his bio here. His responses to some of the election issues are here.

The municipal election is Oct. 24. Advance voting is being done online and runs Oct. 11-24. In-person polls are open on election day.
