A Timmins cyclist has died following a crash yesterday afternoon.
The collision involving a pickup truck and cyclist happened yesterday (Aug. 17) around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Birch Street North.
Timmins Police say the pickup truck hit a cyclist, who has died as a result of the injuries.
The cyclist was 25-year-old Luke Etherington. Next-of-kin notifications have been made by Timmins Police.
A comprehensive investigation of the crash is ongoing. It is being managed by the Timmins Police Traffic Section and includes the Forensic Identification Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division.
