A collision involving a pickup truck and a cyclist occurred at approximately 12:43 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Birch Street North.
The intersection is now closed to facilitate the investigative measures currently undertaken by the Traffic Services Section of the Timmins Police Service.
The cyclist sustained serious injuries and has been transported to Timmins and District Hospital by ambulance.
Witnesses to this collision are asked to come forward and report details to the Timmins Police at 705-264-1201.
