A wanted man is facing a charge for allegedly possessing drugs.
Timmins Police says an officer doing a general crime abatement control on Sept. 9 on Kent Avenue spotted a pedestrian who was a wanted person
The suspect was interviewed and once the arrest warrant was confirmed, he was taken into custody. During that process, police say they seized a controlled substance.
A 42-year-old man from Timmins is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The accused has held in police custody waiting for a bail hearing today.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
