Victims of fatal Highway 11 crash in Temagami identified

Two people were killed in the three-vehicle collision that involved a transport

Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have identified the two deceased involved in the fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 11 in the Municipality of Temagami shortly after 6:30 p.m. on December 8, 2021.    

Further investigation revealed that a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) was southbound and two passenger vehicles were northbound when the collision occurred.

The driver and passenger of the first vehicle were located deceased in the vehicle and have been identified as 60-year-old William Parton from the City of Brantford and 66-year-old Sandra Moyer from the Community of Ayr.

The driver and passenger of the CMV, along with the driver of the second vehicle, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The OPP's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-FPS) are assisting with this investigation.
