Victim of Englehart-area crash dies from injuries

Police say the victim is a 19-year-old from Temiskaming Shores

One person has died from injuries sustained in an August crash on Highway 11.

Aug. 31, OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision between a southbound pickup truck and northbound commercial motor vehicle. It happened on Highway 11 in Pacaud Township near Englehart. One person was brought to hospital and later died. 

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Isaac Walker-Dupont of Temiskaming Shores, said OPP in a news release.

The investigation is ongoing. The OPP's Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team is providing assistance.

There have been multiple serious crashes on Highway 11 this year. 

So far this year, 10 people have been killed on Highway 11 in the region. There have also been a number of other serious crashes.
