The Timmins Police Service arrested 4 local residents on the strength of respective arrest warrants that were executed at various calls for service over the holiday weekend.
While attending at a call for service regarding a suspicious person during the late afternoon hours of April 1, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a “wanted person” named in a current Arrest Warrant held by the Timmins Police.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service. As a result, Brandon Sutherland, 31 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges resulting in the Arrest Warrant being issued.
In a separate matter, while completing community safety patrols near the intersection of Algonquin Boulevard and Pine Street during the early morning hours of April 2, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a pedestrian as being a “wanted person” named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police. Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Kerry Quachegan, 34, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at provincial court in Timmins to answer to the charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
In another instance and while attending at a call for service during the late afternoon hours of April 2, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a “wanted person” named in a current Arrest Warrant held by the Timmins Police. Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Alain Gamache, 38, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
Lastly, while attending to a call for service regarding a suspicious person near the intersection of Vimy Avenue and Waterloo Road during the noon hour of April 4, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a “wanted person” named in a current Arrest Warrant held by the Timmins Police.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service. As a result, Kyle Nakogee, 33, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at provincial court in Timmins to answer to the charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
