TEMISKAMING SHORES - On April 16, 2020 shortly after 11 p.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Lakeshore Road North, in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of suspected controlled substances.
Claire Laforge, a 49-year-old resident of the Town of Cobalt, was arrested and charged with:
• Possession of a schedule I substance - methamphetamine, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
The accused was released by way of an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 16, 2020 in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
