12:05 p.m. update:
The Timmins Police Service is advising that Drayce David, 11, of Timmins, who had been the subject of a “missing persons” incident reported to the Timmins Police Service earlier today, has been since located and returned to his residence by the Timmins Police.

David was located this morning and his well-being has been confirmed by the Timmins Police Service.
This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.

The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.

Original 11:30 a.m. release:
The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing as of this morning.

The Timmins Police Service would like to determine the current whereabouts and confirm the wellbeing of Drayce David, 11, who commonly resides in Timmins.

He is described as:

  • an Indigenous male young person with a thin build 
  • 4’10 tall  
  • 71 lbs 
  • brown eyes
  • short straight brown hair

He was last seen on April 29 wearing black track pants, a black hoodie and black running shoes. 

This person has not had any verifiable contact with family members or caregivers since Wednesday, April 29, and, as such, this matter remains an open “missing person” investigation.
