A local man has been charged with uttering threats.
Timmins Police say a man living at the Riverpark Road apartments "uttered a threat of violence towards another person."
The incident happened on Sunday, June 11 and Timmins Police were made aware of the incident on June 12 during a separate call for service, said police in a news release.
A 55-year-old man from Timmins is charged with uttering threats. His name is being withheld to preserve the anonymity of the victim.
The accused is in police custody waiting for a bail hearing today.
The charge has not been tested in court.
