FAUQUIER - On August 30, 2014, the Cochrane Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a break and enter with theft event that occurred at a trailer park property located on Fantham Rd. in Shackleton Township, south of the town of Fauquier, Ontario.

The police investigation revealed that between the hours of 11:30 pm on August 28, 2014 and 8:00 am on August 29, 2014, suspect(s) attended the involved property adjacent to Gerard Lake, broke into the trailer and stole an estimated $1,000 worth of power tools.

The stolen tools included a 42 cc Poulin chainsaw, a new Mastercraft skill saw, a Stanley Bostitch air compressor, two Bostitch air nailers and an old chrome jigsaw.

The OPP is asking for anyone with relevant information or who may have been in the Fantham Rd. area during this time, to call the Cochrane OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 1-705-272-4391.
