A service technician was allegedly assaulted at a Timmins residence.
Yesterday morning (Oct. 10), Timmins Police say there was an altercation at a Leblanc Avenue resident that resulted in a 22-year-old man being assaulted.
Police allege there was a verbal dispute between a tenant of the residence and a service technician that escalated. After the service technician was hit, police say he left the residence and called police.
A 30-year-old man from Timmins is charged with assault and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held in police custody waiting for a bail hearing today.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
