A call about "the use or presence of weapons" led to a heightened police presence in Schumacher this morning.
Timmins Police said it closed off Grant Street to vehicles and pedestrians in response to the call.
"A thorough investigation involving comprehensive interviews of the occupants of a specific Grant Street residence determined that the reported incident had no substance or validity," said police.
Earlier today, police issued an advisory asking people to not call 911 for updates on the situation.
