Property stolen, damaged during break-in at multi-unit storage facility

Police are asking for the public's help to solve a break-in, theft and mischief investigation.

According to Cochrane District Crime Stoppers, it happened at a multi-unit storage facility in the south end of Timmins on Thursday, Oct. 8 around 1:30 a.m. 

Security footage shows two people cutting the locks on about 25 storage units.

An undetermined amount of property was stolen, and significant damage was caused to property inside the units.

One suspect was wearing a white sweatshirt and face mask and was carrying bolt cutters. The second suspect was wearing a dark-coloured sweatshirt and face mask. Police say both carried dark-coloured backpacks.
