Sept. 16 update:
The Timmins Police Service is advising that Andrea Sylvie Sutherland, 29, of Timmins, who had been the subject of a missing persons incident has been located.

Sutherland was located and her well-being has been confirmed by the Timmins Police Service.

This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.

The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.

Original Sept. 15 release:
The Timmins Police Service is renewing its appeal for public assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing on Monday, Sept. 6.

The Timmins Police Service would like to determine the current whereabouts and confirm the wellbeing of Andrea Sylvie Sutherland, who was last seen during the late evening hours on Saturday, Sept. 4.

She commonly uses the alias of Drea Sutherland.

She is described as:

  • An Indigenous female person
  • 5’ 8 tall
  • 29 years of age
  • Brown eyes
  • Long dark brown hair
  • Small build with multiple ear piercings
  • She was last seen wearing brown suede boots, blue jeans, white sweater, black coat, and a purple bandanna.
