Police are no longer at the scene of a fatal explosion near Schumacher.
Timmins Police and OPP had been at the Comfort Inn on Highway 101 in Timmins since yesterday evening (Oct. 3) after an explosion. One person was killed in the incident.

The hotel and some private businesses were evacuated at the time and were still not allowed back in today.
The scene has now been released by police.
Guests of the hotel who were evacuated are encouraged to contact the hotel directly to make arrangements to get their belongings, said Marc Depatie, Timmins Police communications co-ordinator tonight,
"The Timmins Police appreciate the patience demonstrated by these affected persons," he said.
No further details about the investigation have been released.
