Police made a "sizeable and significant" seizure of drugs and other items executing two search warrants today.
Timmins Police, with the help of OPP, searched two residences — one on Kirby and one on Joseph.
According to Timmins Police corporate communications co-ordinator Marc Depatie 10,000 methamphetamine tablets were seized, as well as .22 calibre handgun, fentanyl patches, crystal meth, other unidentified pills, and drug paraphernalia.
Seven people were arrested, including two people from Toronto, said Depatie. A couple of the suspects ran from police and were apprehended after a "futile and brief" foot chase.
