Kirkland Lake OPP is investigating a fatal fire.
Police responded to the structure fire at a seasonal cottage in Burt Township on Aug. 16.
Police say one person is dead. The name of the person is "being withheld pending a postmortem."
The Kirkland Lake OPP crime unit is investigating the fire, along with the Forensic Identification Services, the Office of the Fire Marshal and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
