Police investigate garbage bin fire in Cobalt

TOWN OF COBALT - On Feb. 14, 2021 shortly after 7:00 a.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Cobalt Fire Department, responded to a call for a garbage bin that had been set on fire.  

Police are seeking information to help solve the suspicious fire which occurred on Nickel Street, in the Town of Cobalt. 

The garbage bin sustained some damage, and the investigation into the fire is ongoing.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.
