2:10 p.m. update:
The Timmins Police Service is advising that Megan Hookimawillene, who had been the subject of a missing persons incident has been located in Timmins.

Hookimawillene was located and her well-being has been confirmed by the Timmins Police Service.

This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.

The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.

The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a female person who has been reported to them as missing.

The Timmins Police Service would like to determine the current whereabouts and confirm the wellbeing of Megan Hookimawillene, 34, who commonly resides in Timmins.

She is described as:

  • an Indigenous female person with a slim build
  • 5’6”’ tall
  • 150 lbs
  • medium length, black hair
  • brown eyes

This person was last seen on Monday, May 3 in Timmins. She is believed to be wearing a red coat, baggy jogging pants and running shoes.
