Police are looking for two anglers in Latchford.
Around 11:30 a.m. today (May 24), OPP received a call about two people who were fishing on the Montreal River when their vessel capsized.
In a tweet this afternoon, police warned people about a large police presence for an investigation between Dump Road and McLeod Avenue, which is the area of the Highway 11 bridge in Latchford.
The ongoing police investigation includes the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit. It also includes Temiskaming OPP, the marine unit, crime unit, Aviation Service-Helicopter Section, Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME), and EMS.
