KIRKLAND LAKE - On Aug. 23, 2021, frontline members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business located on Government Road East in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Natalie Martell, 42 years of age, of Kirkland Lake, has been arrested and charged with;
- Theft under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 30, 2021, in Kirkland Lake.
