Vehicle stop results in drug charges
TEMISKAMING SHORES - A member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Peter’s Road on June 14, 2014 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Through investigation both occupants were arrested for possession of Cannabis Marijuana.
Driver, Stephane SAUVE, 25, of Dymond Township is charged for Possession of Schedule II Substance Cannabis Marihuana – section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Occupant, Leonard SHEARER, 23, of New Liskeard is charged for Possession of Schedule II Substance Cannabis Marihuana – section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Both accused will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on July 29, 2014.
