KIRKLAND LAKE - On March 16, 2021, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a mischief on Day Avenue in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
The investigation revealed that the accused caused damage to the victim's property.
As a result, William Leclerc, age 38, of Kirkland Lake, was arrested and charged with following;
- Mischief under $5,000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
- Fail to comply with summons, contrary to section 145(3) of the CC.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake, on April 8, 2021.
