KIRKLAND LAKE, - On Aug.10, 2021, frontline members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a person being harassed.
As a result of the investigation, Amanda Westcott, 27 years of age, of Kirkland Lake, has been arrested and charged with criminal harassment, contrary to section 264(2)(a) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 30, 2021, in Kirkland Lake.
