Iroquois Falls resident charged for harassment: Police

The 29-year-old faces multiple charges

IROQUOIS FALLS – On Aug. 20, 2021 at approximately 6:43 p.m., members of the Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a person being harassed.   

As a result of the investigation, Keisthan Peever, 29 years of age of Iroquois Falls,  was arrested and charged with the following: 

  • Failure to comply with undertaking contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC) 
  • Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the CC 
  • Criminal harassment - beset and watch complainant contrary to section 264(2)(c) of the CC
  • Driving while under suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) 
  • Driver no helmet or improper helmet contrary to Regulation 316(19)(1) of the HTA  

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 23, 2021 in Timmins.
