OPP has confirmed the crash was fatal. Highway 144 is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day. Further details are not available yet.

The highway between Timmins and Sudbury remains closed this morning.
The Highway 144 closure started around 5 p.m. yesterday (Nov. 2) following a serious two-vehicle crash. Photos from the scene show the collision involved a commercial motor vehicle.
The crash happened near Doyle Road (south of The Cache). There are no detours.
As of 6:30 a.m. today (Nov. 3), 511 reports the road is still closed in both directions.
