3 injured in overnight altercation in downtown Timmins

Three men were brought to the hospital after an overnight incident in downtown Timmins. 

Around 2:15 a.m. today (Oct. 13), Timmins Police responded to an altercation on Third Avenue that saw a number of people injured. Paramedics were also on-scene to perform first aid. 

Three men were injured and brought by ambulance to the hospital for treatment, said police. 

The scene was cordoned off by Timmins Police for a period of time to allow for the investigation, which is ongoing and being led by the criminal investigations unit.
