The Mountjoy Farmers' Market is looking for people to tap into their creative side.

The group has launched a contest to find a new logo for the weekly market.

Last season, the Porcupine Agricultural Society took over the market and has been using the Timmins Fall Fair logo in some of the marketing.

There are two categories for the logo contest: an open division for all ages including design professionals, and a junior category for youth up to 12 years.

The deadline for submissions is midnight May 31.

"The winning logo will be used on signage and marketing material for the Mountjoy Farmers' Market. The winning logo from the junior category will be used during any junior vendor events that may be held by the Mountjoy Farmers' Market," reads a news release.

The open category winner will receive $100 in market dollars, and the junior winner will win $50 in market dollars. Market dollars can be used at the Mountjoy event and the Downtown BIA Urban Park.

The market is getting a new home this season.

Earlier this year, it was announced it's moving to the Mountjoy Historical Conservation Area where a permanent structure will be built.

The first market is July 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
