Did your house shake this morning?
The shaking and loud boom this morning around 8:45 a.m. were caused by construction, according to a Facebook post from the City of Timmins.
According to the post, the construction is being completed down Pine Street South near the Deloro Landfill. It is not a city construction project.
Earthquakes Canada has confirmed a 1.6 magnitude event from a blast on surface.
