Please be advised that missing person Leroy Wynne was located by police safe and sound.

9:23 a.m. original release 

The Timmins Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in locating missing person Leroy Wynne, 43, of Timmins.

Wynne was reported missing on July 6, 2017. He was last seen on June 29, 2017 at approximately 6 p.m., after leaving a residence in the east end of the city.

Wynne is described as being an Aboriginal male, approximately 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 200 lbs., with a medium build, and short black hair. He has a thin, black moustache, normally worn in a fumanchu style.

He was last seen wearing a black Chicago Blackhawks baseball cap, a black t-shirt, dark pants, and brown Nike running shoes.

Police are concerned about Wynne’s well-being due to several medical issues. Anyone having any information on his whereabouts, or believing they may have seen him is asked to call the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
