A popular lookout is staying open for a little bit longer.

While the Hollinger Open Pit Lookout was slated to close Sept. 30, the hours have been extended through the Thanksgiving long weekend.

Newmont Porcupine has extended access until Oct. 11 at 6 p.m., when it will close until June 1, 2023.

There are new hours for the fully accessible attraction. It's open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except during blasting hours, which are 11:30 a.m.-noon and 3:30-4 p.m.
