HEARST – Shortly before 11:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2014, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Hearst Detachment responded to a collision involving a police vehicle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 11 and Cloutier Road North, just west of Hearst, Ontario.
As a result of the police investigation, Provincial Constable James BUTLER, a nine month member of the Hearst OPP Detachment has been charged with Fail to yield to traffic onto highway, contrary to section 139(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
