Mayoral Candidates Business Debate

Porcupine Dante Club
The formal debate hosted by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce will give the business community a chance to hear the mayoral candidates’ views on business growth in the city. All five candidates have been invited. Registration and lunch is from 11:30 a.m. – noon. The debate is from noon to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $50 for chamber members and $65 general admission. A night of live music from local musicians. Tickets are $5, with the proceeds going to the Project Love. The Man From Hell Lucanus Pell, Shaun Melanson, Nomads Pie and Angelie Lynn will be performing. A portion of the proceeds from every Full Beard beer purchased at the event will also go towards the fundraiser.

Craftivist Cross-Stitching

To celebrate the museum’s Nice Women Don’t Want the Vote exhibit and Women’s History Month, you can cross-stitch your own piece of radical art. The event is for ages 19 and up. The cost is $30 and includes all supplies and refreshments.
