Stop by to browse the vendors and makers. Some vendors will be there every week and there will always be new businesses. It’s being hosted by the Downtown Timmins BIA in the former Bucovetsky’s building.

Christmas Open House 

Nov. 21 and 21, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Thurston Stained Glass, 35 Father Costello Dr., Schumacher

Shop three local makers — Thurston Stained Glass, When Pigs Fly pottery, and Big Button Scarf handmade knitwear. COVID-19 rules apply and masks are required.

Community Christmas Tree Lighting 

Saturday, Nov. 20, 6 p.m.

Hollinger Park

Along with the lighting of the 40-foot spruce tree featuring over 4,000 lights, there will be a performance by the Timmins Symphony Choir and free hot chocolate courtesy of the McIntyre Coffee Shop. 

Holiday Artisan Market 

Sunday, Nov. 21, noon - 4 p.m.

Full Beard Brewing

Handmade vendors will be set up at the brewery. Masks must be worn while shopping. Proof-of-vaccination is not needed to shop but is if you want to order a drink.

Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre

An art exhibit by Temiskaming artist Martin Foley, who’s originally from Quebec and has been teaching art in Northern Ontario since the early ‘70s.
