Timmins is marking Community Living Month.
Mayor George Pirie has raised a flag at city hall for the event.
"Community Living Timmins Integration Communautaire envisions a society where everyone belongs, has equality and full citizenship," reads the city announcement.
"Community Living assists people with intellectual disabilities to have lives that make sense to them on their own terms. They help build a network of supports that include family, friends, and community resources to help individuals meet their needs and dreams."
