Steps for Life

Saturday, May 11

Schumacher Lions Club Park

A fun five-kilometre walk to support families affected by life-altering workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths. Registration is at 10 a.m., with opening remarks at 11 a.m.

Improv Session

Saturday, May 11, 6 - 8 p.m.

Back of CTV station, 681 Pine St. N.

Take Two Theatre is hosting an improv session for people 18 years and over. The cost is $5 or free for members. Email [email protected] to reserve a spot.

Third Annual Bowl for a Cure

Saturday, May 11, 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Midtown Bowl, 70 Algonquin Blvd. W. 

A fundraiser for the Huntington Society of Canada. The cost is $25 per person and includes shoe rental, all you can bowl, silent auction, and door prize entry. For more information contact Lynn Walker at [email protected].

Mother’s Day Breakfast

Sunday, May 12, 9 a.m. - noon

Connaught Community Centre

The cost is $12 for adults, $7 for kids ages six to 10 years, and free for children five and under.

Candian author Joseph Boyden will be giving a talk, followed by a reception. The event is free, but spaces are limited. Pick up a ticket in advance at the museum.
