Butterflies presentation

Timmins Public Library 

Learn about the various types of butterflies in the area from Science Timmins. For more information, call 705-360-2623 ext. 8519.

Urban Park 

July 10 - 12

This week's event is taking place on Third Avenue between Balsam and Maple, and the theme is Superheroes. Wednesday there are kids’ activities, the farmers’ market is Thursday, and Friday is Tunes at Noon.

Geocaching 101

Timmins Public Library

Learn about the basics from enthusiast Mark Joron. Everyone is welcome, and it’s for people ages eight and up. For more information, call 705-360-2623 ext. 8519.

Summer Concert Series - Beats and Eats

Wednesday, July 10, 3 - 9 p.m.

Schumacher Lions Club McIntyre Park

This week’s performers are Kyle Cote, Adam Tschupruk, Chris and Devon Aitken Band, and Coldwater. When the bands are changing over, Rebel Soul Tribe will be leading sessions of Zumba, Pound, Flow and line dancing. It’s free to attend. Voluntary cash or non-perishable food items for the Timmins and South Porcupine food banks are welcome.

Beauce Carnaval

The FLK Taoist Tai Chi Timmins Branch is doing demonstrations throughout the summer. 

Free Family Fun Day

July 13, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Connaught Community Hall, 6825 Frederickhouse Lake Rd.

The Connaught Community Association’s annual event is happening rain or shine. There will be free food and beverages, face painting, crafts, rock wall climbing and inflatables.

Meet the artists at the Porcupine Art Club. The event happens rain or shine.
