The Porcupine Health Unit is advising the public of a potential high risk public exposure to COVID-19. related to the following travel:
- Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 – Ontario Northland Bus, from Timmins to Watershed, departing from Timmins at 9:10 a.m.
Those on the bus are advised to visit phu.fyi/covid-exposures for guidance on the next steps to take.
The PHU is reminding everyone to follow all public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The safest options are to limit close contact to your own household members, stay home and do not attend work or school when ill, avoid non-essential travel, and remember to practise physical distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands and get vaccinated. Before leaving your home, continue to screen yourself for symptoms and practise COVID-safe behaviours.
