The warmer weather is melting the ice cover on the Mattagami River near Cedar Meadows Resort

Rain is in the forecast for much of Tuesday.

The temperature is going to hover near 2C with the rain ending late in the evening according to Environment Canada.

It's going to cool off further Tuesday night with the temperature dropping to -4C.
