Highway 144 is closed in both directions at New Cobden Road, located west of Dowling.
An undefined collision has been cited by Ontario 511 as the cause.
They recorded the closure’s start time at 4:28 p.m., and at the latest update it remained in effect.
At approximately 4:55 p.m., OPP North East Region posted a message on X which said it was a "serious single motor-vehicle collision" near High Falls, and that the highway was still closed in both directions during the investigation.
