A controlled release of ammonia is scheduled for the Archie Dillon Sportsplex this week.
A City of Timmins advisory notes the planned gas release starts today from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For the rest of the week, it will be done between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
"The Timmins Fire department, Porcupine Health Unit and the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks have been notified of this planned release," states the advisory.
