3 local agencies pick up $625K in provincial funding

Three children's and social services organizations are receiving provincial cash for facility repairs and upgrades.

A total of $625,600 is being doled out to the Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre, Community Living Timmins, Payukotayno - James and Hudson Bay Family Services through Partner Facility Renewal Program. 

“Our government is proud to invest in children’s and social services organizations in  Timmins because they are at the heart of our community,” said Timmins MPP George Pirie, in a news release. 

“By funding these repairs, we are ensuring that the staff can continue do what they do  best, supporting people in need of a safe and accessible space with high-quality services in our community."

The breakdown of the funding includes $559,100 for the Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre, $46,000 for Community Living Timmins, and $20,400 for Payukotayno.
