NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF TIMMINS
***************************
Timmins Transit will be transitioning from the current Sunday service to an enhanced Sunday service level.

This affects both conventional and Handy Transit services.

This means that conventional buses will leave the main terminal at 6:30 a.m. with the last bus departing the main terminal for the east end route (901 E) at 8:30 p.m.

This service will be provided seven days a week and will continue unless further advised.

This change in service level is expected to provide workers with more options for travel to and from essential work sites and will help with maintaining physical distancing on buses.

While the service will continue to be free, the public is reminded that transit services should only be used for essential travel.
