Seven-year-old Timmins boy, Ty Presseault, had enough of COVID-19 this summer.

His mission was to help “get rid of COVID”. Ty took charge of destiny and began his own fundraiser for the Timmins and District Hospital.

He started a summer business at a camp called Fire Master. For a small fee, this young entrepreneur roasted marshmallows for friends and family and raised $65 for the COVID Support Fund.

Laura Presseault said Ty had very loyal customers who loved his “marshmallow turner” (one of the many different marshmallow menu items he had). Ty’s customers supported him regularly and said he made some of the best marshmallows as he took his time”

Barb McCormick, Manager of Donor Relations adds “our youth make a wonderful impact in a way that only a child can, taking a sweet treat and turning it into an act of kindness is simply wonderful.” Our health care professionals thank Ty for a job well done!
