The Timiskaming Health Unit has issued a potential COVID-19 exposure at Dec. 19 event in Kirkland Lake.
People who were at a Christmas dinner event at the Encore Club in Kirkland Lake may have been exposed to the virus, according to the health unit.
Anyone who attended is asked to self-monitor and to reach our for testing if symptoms develop,

"Residents of the Timiskaming district are reminded that we are currently under a lockdown order, directed by the province of Ontario. All public health measures need to be followed and gatherings must not take place," reads the bulletin.
To date there have been 64 confirmed cases of the virus in the Timiskaming Health Unit area. There are 26 known active cases.
