Two new COVID-19 cases, including one person in hospital, are being reported by the Timiskaming Health Unit.
Both people are in the central part of the district, which includes Englehart and Earlton.
"The cases are under investigation, one individual is self-isolating while the other individual is hospitalized. Contact tracing is underway and those who have been identified as close contacts have been, or are in the process of being notified," reads the bulletin.
These cases bring the total case count up to 70. There are 25 known active cases. Of those, five people are listed as being in hospital.
