The PHU COVID-19 hotline is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It can be reached at 705-267-1181 or 1-800-461-1818.

For people receiving testing, the health unit continues to remind people that it only tells you if you have COVID-19 at the time of the swab being taken. The result does not tell you if you've had the virus before, or that you won't be exposed to it after.

"Please continue with measures like physical distancing, wearing a face covering where physical distancing may be challenging, frequent handwashing and staying home when you are sick," reads the update.
