Health unit reports 92nd COVID-19 case

The Porcupine Health Unit is reporting one new COVID-19 case. 

According to the health unit, the 92nd case is a person who was tested and is in self-isolation outside the region.

"Following provincial protocol, cases are reported and attributed to the health unit they reside in permanently. The investigation is ongoing and close contacts will be identified and contacted by public health," reads the bulletin.

Of the 92 confirmed cases, 78 are recovered and nine people have died. There are five known active cases.

The health unit is aware of 29,528 tests for the virus being done, which is an increase of 266 from yesterday's report.
