Jo-Anne Proulx would like to say thanks and recognize Melanie Larochelle.

"COVID-19 has truly gripped our nation. With this being said, we are all blessed by the professional commitment and selflessness by all the first responders, who are taking care of the rest of us, while performing their duties in a high-risk environment and for this reason I am so proud of my daughter-in-law Melanie Larochelle. Melanie is a commander of operations CDEMS Timmins Base. Hers is definitely not a position for the weak during this challenging period. Melanie stay safe and thank you for risking your well-being with your selflessness act in doing what you do. Thank you."

TimminsToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
